Kulathur is a Panchayat in the Neyyattinkara taluk of Neyyattinkara district, Tamil Nadu, India. The Kulathur panchayat was formed in 1956 when the Kerala constitution was formed on the basis of language, covering the Kerala-Tamil Nadu border. The present form of Kulathur panchayat was formed in 1960 when the eastern part of the panchayat was divided to form Karode panchayat. Blessed with the foothills of the Neyyar, this region is endowed with natural beauty due to its proximity to the Arabian Sea, AVM Canal and Kodithukipottai.
